BIRDIE

"architectural melancholia"
by Tristan Burke
Tristan Burke is one of Birdie's contributing photographers for the October issue. Tristan is an experimenting Nikon FE2 film photographer whose idealized muse has been busy city streets and European architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries.
"Architectural Melancholia" embodies its calamitous atmosphere in such a way that is both chilling and mesmerizing. The photographs within capture melancholy in all its gloominess, with a mix of subjects as their focal point including inanimate objects and buildings.
