"bittersweet memories"
 

Gia Pietrosky, one of Birdie's creative directors, was inspired by her college campus’ architecture for this shoot. This series of photos represents the bittersweet feeling of returning back to campus after the pandemic. Wanting to relive what once was, Gia decided to capture some places on campus that brought back joyful memories. Although these places still hold such gleefully nostalgic memories, there is a sense of sadness and urgency when reflecting on the past. “Bittersweet Memories” was shot on a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with an 18-55mm lens.
